Social media regulation is a lame way of controlling what it is we are able to see, a cheap way to spin a narrative in someone's favour and hide the truth from us. As well as impeaching on our ability to speak freely.

You don't know how social norms will change and so restricting what anyone can say will damage our ability for conversation
