People in other countries hold a great amount of respect for their elders, caring for them in their own homes and treating them with the utmost respect and dignity until their dying day, regardless if they be your relative or neighbour. Canada would benefit greatly from taking notice of this cultural difference and break this obscene norm of sheltering the elderly away from the very love and structure that they have created.
