Imagine if your school implemented a policy allowing teachers to carry firearms; do you feel this would make you more or less safe, and why?

I feel like this would make me less safe. This is because I fear firearms, which may be the case for many other individuals. Giving teachers the opportunity to carry firearms for their defence doesn't restrict them to use the firearm on students. Of course, there will be consequences like jail time, but that can never be equivalent to one's life that has been lost.
