Marriage should be about staying with the one you love and being committed to them, religion should not interfere. We are all people, we should be allowed to marry the ones we love no matter what, taking it away is taking away human rights.

Marriage is no longer a biblical concept, it is a part of the law. A marriage is not just for religious people. Everyone should the right to marry who they want under the law.

This is a purely semantic argument, if you want to make a designation between religious weddings and wedding for the sake of state that's fine but not really a serious issue.

The definition of marriage consistently changes, you can go into a government building with no ceremony and get a marriage license. It used to be part of a land transaction. Let any consenting adult choose their marriage partner

Where in the definition of marriage is gender specified? And if your source is the Christian Bible, why should that be a source of legal policy when we’re not a religious state?

Gay marriage should be legal everywhere’s because it’s love, religion and politics should not get involved in someone’s love life.

But when two people love each other, nonetheless of race, gender, ethnicity, I think that they should get married. I dint really believe in “marriage between just man and woman” . Anyone who wants ti get married CAN get married. I dint think same sex marriage should be illegal anyways because even though its not really know, you’re still deprived people from their rights.

Marriage is a expression of love between two willing people. Obviously, there are biblical ties, but the thought of marriage as a strictly religious expression is archaic. Marriage for people now is an expression of love, or to be one under the government's eyes. This argument is incredibly arrogant and moot, as marriages are regularly held outside of churches, between people of a generation where in most cases were raised a certain religion, that have not practiced said religion in years.

I think it should be illegal since marriage is strictly supposed to be between a man and a woman and no other combination. There are many vows to abide to when gettting married, in almost all of the holy books like the bible and quran completely disagree with the gay marriage.

People can do whatever you want its non of your bissness nore do you have any right to impose on our lives just trying to be in love

 @9FXMRBSfrom Ontario disagreed…8mos8MO

If you need a sin to be against the law for you to avoid doing it then turning away from sin and towards God was never a primary goal of yours anyway. If you’re truly in your heart made a Christian and seek God and cast aside your own sinful nature then it shouldn’t matter if it is illegal or legal. Changing the legality of sin doesn’t make it any more or less sinful.
