Hamas is a terrorist organization that does not play by the same rules as legitimate national governments. Their main objective is to erase Israel and all Jews. A cease fire only provides Hamas time to regroup, rearm, and replan more terrorist attacks. Hamas hides behinds civilians. If the Palestinian people don’t want to be casualties of war they need to oust Hamas themselves. Is Israel supposed to just accept a neighbour whose entire purpose is to commit genocide against its people.
What if Israel was America? It was, when the Taliban attacked and America was justified in its 20 year war.
No to any involvement. Let Israel stand on its own two feet and atone for how it has treated Palestinians since 1948. The country should never have been formed in the first place. Let them make their own way with Iran, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and other Arab states. Then, let's see how the bully makes out in the playground.
Yes, but only if it results in the destruction of Hamas and Palestine Authority control within Gaza
@9KGZZVZ2mos2MO
Shouldn't interfere with foreign conflicts unless absolutely necessary.
@9KG9KSM2mos2MO
What's happening in Gaza is atrocious but this isn't Canadians business to get involved in. I want the citizens of Palestine to be safe.
@9K4PKQ52mos2MO
I support a conditional ceasefire with the conditions put forward by Israel- the immediate release of all the hostages and the surrender, and permanant removal of Hamas from Gaza.
@9JWZJD3Rhinoceros2mos2MO
Other countries sticking their nose in the political landscape got us into the current mess. Ceasefire or not, things need to be figured out
@9JVNB5G2mos2MO
I think they should nuke them all after they hide all the Hamas leaders, hail, Hamas, and hail Hitler
@9JV5LCX 3mos3MO
Tell all sides to stop fighting each other and allow for peace to prosper while allowing for more freedom while preventing deaths of innocent people.
@9JM57ZY3mos3MO
There are 2 sides to this war. As one side can reload on ammunition and weapons and as the other side people can find a haven but also get captured this ceasefire is a benefit and non-benefit to both countries.
@9JL9XYZConservative3mos3MO
It’s not our war and we need to focus on ourselves not two genisidal countries that have wanted to kill each other for the past 5000years
@9L7D6G44wks4W
Yes, and Israeli government must face consequences for genocide.
@979XN3F 4wks4W
No, not until every last hostage held by Hamas has been rescued or released
@9KQTVL32mos2MO
When Hamas is wiped out, then put the weapons down
@9KQQPJF2mos2MO
A call for Israel to halt military tactics that cause mass casualties, but still commit to the removal of Hamas from power in Gaza.
@9KLT7LCRhinoceros2mos2MO
Yes, provided both sides agree to the ceasefire, aid is given to ailing citizens, and hostages are released.
@9JMWT933mos3MO
If a permanent ceasefire would call for no more terrorist attacks, then yes, but this calling from Canada will not change the unrealistic scenario as Gaza will always enact violence towards Israel if led by a terrorist Jihad regime.
@9JM58263mos3MO
I agree with Ceasfire and disagree at the same time because there were hostages that Israelis wanted to be freed and to do that they kept firing. But, in the meantime, they killed many to do that, and I don't agree with that.
@9LW75791hr1H
Our stance means nothing to those involved in said conflict.
