Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, Banning people because of their race and identity is just wrong.

Not every Muslim person is a terrorist, so denying access to individuals because of a small minority would be unjust to those affected.

In Canada, more people have died in Islamaphobic terrorist attacks than Islamic terrorist attacks being at 6 to 3

Take example of Dubai which is an Islamic country where crime rate is very low. As per Numbeo website data, crime index of Dubai is 16.23. It is also fact that Dubai is very safe, very developed, and people are also happy in Dubai.

More people have died to Islamophobic attacks and hate crimes than have been killed in terrorist attacks committed by a Muslim in Canada.

Not all the people in the world are same, you see Dubai and Qatar are Muslim countries but are developed so much.

It's essential to understand that the majority of Muslims are not terrorists. The actions of a few extremists do not represent an entire religious group. According to the Global Terrorism Database, which tracks terrorism incidents worldwide, the overwhelming majority of victims of terrorism are Muslims themselves. Data from organizations like the United States Institute of Peace and the National Counterterrorism Center show that terrorism threats are not limited to any one religion.

It's discriminatory because if this happens, you're acting as if all muslims are terrorists and thats a huge racist stereotype that not only affects me but millions of other people

The 9-11 was caused by muslims, also things like some civil wars and danger to our country was caused by muslims.

Unless we’re certain they are not involved in terrorist activity than we shouldn’t be allowing them into Canada until we are 100% certain

Even if 99% of a particular cultural group were “bad” for the country, we must give that 1% a chance. While terrorism certainly exists in the country, I would argue that we should be more concerned about acts of domestic terrorism rather than acts by immigrants.

I would argue that there is much more danger posed by high-power low-empathy politicians and corporations that manipulate the masses. We’re quite literally poisoning the earth and mistreated racialized citizens already within the country, we really shouldn’t be picking fights outside the country. Pushing the…  Read more

every country has some problems but as long as its the minority of people then don't judge everyone in that country as if they would do the same.

We should increase screening on potential terror threats. We should only take Muslims from countries that Canada has a good diplomatic standing with.

Immigrants, Muslim or not, will lower your society’s sense of identity as a whole. People don’t want work and suddenly somebody else come to enjoy your fruit. Stop immigrantion if you want people to work together.

 @9FD6Z7Hfrom Alberta agreed…7mos7MO

No because Muslim are the fastest growing group banning because of the crime of a few people
Is very wrong what about all the damage done to Iraq Syria afangistan

 @9FCH6T3from Ontario agreed…7mos7MO

No, because Failure to Address Real Threats: Blanket bans on Muslim immigrants do not effectively address the threat of terrorism. Terrorism is a complex and multi-faceted issue, and terrorists can come from various backgrounds and religious affiliations. The vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists, and focusing solely on their religion as a basis for immigration bans is a misguided approach that ignores the root causes of extremism. Banning immigration based on religion goes against the principles of equality and religious freedom that many democratic societies hold dear. It unfairly discriminates against a specific religious group and infringes upon their basic human rights. This approach is fundamentally unjust and contradicts the values that many nations strive to uphold.

Muslim immigrants in the United States face negative views from the public, but they continue to believe in the American Dream and are proud to be both American and Muslim
. The Muslim population in the U.S. is growing and highly diverse, made up largely of immigrants and the children of immigrants from all across the world, and as a group, Muslims are younger and more racially diverse than the general population
. Despite efforts by some groups to quell this population, Muslims have continued to grow and thrive in the U.S. and have slowly gained representation in the government, in U.S. tele…  Read more
