Guns promote violence. By normalizing them in schools, it makes the school feel as if there is a threat at all times. This is not conducive to raising healthy children who don’t live in fear.

a teacher should not be armed as a teacher cannot be fully trusted or regulated with that weapon, therefore, a security guard should be seen the same way.
