Aboriginals lived here before we did, and now some of them don't even have running water. The government also wanted to put a pipeline where they lived, the Aboriginals have been through so much we need to help fund them if they want it.

I feel like if we phased out Native Funding our government would be more hated on than it already is, Canadians already complain enough about how we send too much to other countries and not enough to OUR homeless and OUR native people, therefore if we phased out native funding I would imagine that there would be a revolution-type situation, which we've already had between the First Nations and Canadian Militia.
