Non-renewable energy is as it states, and will run out eventually, damaging the environment in the process, using renewable energy will remove both of those problems, and will make everyones life easier in the long run.

That if we don't invest in renewable energy this planet won't be inhabitable for us and any other living creature here. Plus, we're not ready for space travel to the extent of a new colony on a different body in space.

Well Renewable Energy will have many positives for us as a country. If each province choose a type of Renewable Energy I think it would be much easier to maintain. It would also hopefully restore our atmosphere slighty, but we would still be driving non-electric vehicles which is very counterproductive.

We will eventually run out of Non renewable resources hence renewable energy ensures that there is no energy surge when that happen.

Our earth is dying,without renewable resources our world will continue to die around us with our help. In case of a power shut down, hospitals need these renewable power to help keep all the patients alive.

either way we will run out of oil and gas so job opportunities will shrink anyways. Only difference is that if we wait until we fully run out our planet will be nearly dead from pollution so what's it matter if we start to switch now then later.

I would tell people who are against renewable energy is that if we want to have a good future not only for us but for our future family we need to help the earth sustain itself as much as possible, and one really good way of doing it is to use renewable energy because a great part of what is damaging the earth is non-renewable energy.

Renewable energy is, well renewable, self-sustaining. however nonrenewable energy isn't, so compared to your world, and mine. You would run out of energy eventually, and I doubt that you can advance fast enough to travel to another planet with sufficient energy that can be harvested by you
With Renewable, its sustainable and reliable
With Unrenewable, its expensive, unreliable, unsustaining, hard to gather, and hard to process.
