I don't think every same-sex couple should be automatically permitted to adopt. Are they in a long-term, very stable and loving relationship? Are they going to provide a balanced view of the sexes - nothing wrong with being gay, but are they going to raise the child in a home that reveres both sexes. Are they adopting the child for the child's sake or for theirs?
