No. I do not support Bill C51, as it will do little to prevent terrorist acts done to Canadians. It causes all sorts of problems for liberty and freedom of people to legally speak out against their government.

Yes, in theory, but not as it stands now. There needs to be more clarification on some issues

Only with more oversight from independent agencies.

It could be abused if in the wrong hands but serve is purpose if used right
@2D5TCK23 år3Y
It should be set in place to only use during emergency time, not just whenever.

NO, this infringes on Canadian citizens rights and privacy, i believe this will increase racism and turn Canada into a police state
@2D3PFBN3 år3Y
NO. Not only does it infringe upon basic human rights of Canadian citizens, but it also casts sovereign Indigenous Nations as the "enemy" and "terrorists", when all we are doing is protecting our land and communities!
@2D3LDLP3 år3Y
Not under the current representation, as it impacts negatively on Canadians rights and freedoms.

No, it should be rewritten to require proper judicial proceedings (warrants) to achieve intelligence gathering, not based on arbitrary individualistic agendas.
@2D363RX3 år3Y
Should only apply to elected MPs
@2D2Z5743 år3Y
It's a slippery slope towards a police state
@2D2V65J3 år3Y
Yes, but with additional parlimentary oversight

As a Canadian citizen, I have the right to protest in a peaceful way against whatever I like. I should not be arrested, or be spied on or tracked just because I have protested for/against something. Bill C-51 should only be for people that have given a reasonable amount of evidence that they are endangering others or will commit acts of terrorism.
@2CYM2JD3 år3Y
NO!!! This is a human rights violation. It will only lead to a decrease in privacy and an increase in racial profiling and institutionalized racism.

The police already have too much authority
