NYPD’s strategic response group is currently moving in to clear the NYU Palestine solidarity encampment.
Hundreds of students moved towards police as they approached to protect the encampment and fellow students who were praying when they showed up.

Mass arrests under way at NYU as the SRG moves grabs protesters at the front of the group. Behind the melee, students have arms linked protecting the encampment, chanting “disclose, divest, we will not stop we will not rest.”

Well over 500 people are present to support the encampment, which is now in its 16th hour.
