In June 2015, our Central Executive Committee cautiously welcomed the interim nuclear deal, the Joint Plan of Action between Iran and the P5+1 countries (US, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany), noting that it was a small step in a positive direction on the issue of peace in the Middle East. However, the CEC also warned that the deal avoids many of the underlying issues that have contributed to insecurity, conflict and war in the region. Since then, the US has reinstated a number of sanctions against the Iranian people. The real and immediate danger is the continuing nuclear weapons development and proliferation by the US and its NATO allies.
As the US shifts its focus away from ballistic missiles and toward “smart” nuclear weapons like the B61-12 bomb, it is also developing a multi-national NW delivery system that is based on the F-35 fighter. This, combined with the overwhelming mass destructive capacity of imperialism’s conventional military organizations, compels countries like Russia, China, DPRK and others to rely on nuclear weapons as their only deterrent. The US “Pivot to Asia” – which has military, political and diplomatic aspects – is an aggressive attempt to assert control in the Asia Pacific region, and only serves to exacerbate this standoff.
These developments warrant more study and analysis. In the immediate term, it is crucial that we help build the anti-nuclear weapons movement in Canada and iterate the need for disarmament by imperialist forces. Our Party reiterates its call for nuclear weapons abolition and connects that with the need for general disarmament, starting with the imperialist militaries. This work provides concrete opportunities to forge stronger alliances between peace and environmental organizations."Source

In the first place, it targets those critical of the corporate agenda of austerity, environmental destruction, and imperialist war. This dangerous Tory legislation would help further transform CSIS into a secret police force beyond the control of the public or even Parliament. The Communist Party of Canada warns that Bill C-51 cannot be “amended” or “improved”; it must be rejected by Parliament, and CSIS itself should be dismantled, not expanded.

We need to shift away from the whole notion of “minimums” and demand our basic rights – through full employment and livable wages, housing provided as a public utility for all who need it, free tuition, rent rollbacks. Restricting delivery to public facilities is a strategy to protect the turf of public service unions. More private options will increase innovation—both saving money and improving service. Even so, public funding must remain—and be enhanced. The Liberals cut it from 50% to 14%; it has never been restored. It should be restored to 25%. In addition, Canadians should not allow ourselves to be terrified about so-called “two-tiered” health care: virtually every social democratic government in Europe already has two-tiered health care. It simply means letting private competition improve delivery and reduce costs, while retaining a single-payer insurance concept (the way the Canadian system was originally adopted) to ensure universal access. Christian Heritage’s回答： 不是，比尔是空泛的范围、 监督和问责制的问题This may be the reason that the new security measures proposed in Bill C-51 do not have the oversight that critics are calling for. The difficulty with the criticism this bill has received is that most of it has come from members of other parties who are opposing it, in part, because they always oppose everything the government does. However, in this case, they are making a legitimate counter-point—that basic levels of individual freedom and privacy should not be trampled in the quest for better protection.Source

The Gulf States seethe with the menace of Salafist and Wahhabi undergrounds. An old saying applies here: “We don’t have a dog in that fight.” Meaning, if there’s no one worth supporting in all those civil wars, is it worth expending our treasure and our blood to support the overthrow of one tyrant, just to enable a possibly worse oppressor to take over?Source

CHP Canada's short-term solution would be "Lower, Simpler, Flatter Taxes" (as recommended by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation) and allowing full income-splitting for all married couples (one man-one woman). Over time, the CHP would initiate a national discussion on the elimination of all income taxes and the replacement of that revenue stream with a Fair Tax on goods and services. The net benefit to the family of the average second income is less than $1,000 a month, after you deduct the extra taxes, travel costs, meals away from home, clothing costs, etc.; the CHP’s Family Care Allowance will replace that, enabling parents to make the choice most of them want. And because it will reduce unemployment, the Family Care Allowance won’t actually cost taxpayers anything! Christian Heritage’s回答： 不，相反，提供培训、 就业安置援助到非季节性的工作The CHP would like to see the EI system revamped, but unlike anything the opposition or government have proposed. The CHP would move to a Personal Security Account (PSA) as was proposed by Dr. Robert Thomson back in 1980. This method of handling employment issues would have better provided for this present crisis, as it has done in Chile where this model was adopted over 20 years ago. Beginning with their first job, individuals and their employers would each contribute 5% to their PSA, just as we do now for EI and CPP, and in Ontario, Healthcare. This money is saved in an account that specifically belongs to that individual. When needed, the individual may withdraw needed funds from their account. Had this plan been in place, funds would have been available to carry people through the 2 week waiting period required to collect EI. Those newly unemployed would be able to withdraw up to a maximum of 15% per year from their PSA, after which, government assistance would kick in and provide support if it were needed.Source
