Yes, we really need more funding for space travel, who knows what NASA could do with the budget of the US military. Many accomplishments will probably be achieved if NASA had a way bigger funding!

Yes, but funding NASA should be less than the costs of funding to improve life on Earth.

 @92JXK3J from New York answered…2yrs2Y

NASA should be used to fund private companies and ensure that they do not use this power to monopolize and regulate the industry. But we should leave space travel up to companies.

Yes, and drastically increase NASA’s current budget, but not until we drastically decrease our federal deficit. Plus, we should be focusing on saving the Earth first and only leaving it as a last resort.

 @92ZYZRW from Missouri answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but it shouldn't be overly funded. The funding of things like that are what allow for advancement in technology in fields that involve similar technology.

 @92TZ94X from Georgia answered…2yrs2Y

No, not until we get out of debt, but we should fund the Space Force so we have the upper hand from those who would do it first.

 @8ZL6BBD from Colorado answered…2yrs2Y

It depends. For scientific discovery and advancement, yes, but for abandoning the planet instead of focusing on reverting climate change, then no.

 @jpatel from California answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but we should focus on saving the earth before we try to leave it.

It is actually a interesting question. Government funding could be good for space exploration, but we could also use the money in our more weak areas in economics.

 @8X3KQBN from Nevada answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, I think space travel is good and will push civilization forward into the future, but I also believe we need to work towards saving our planet and not just completely give up on it yet.

 @7D8YPRX from Louisiana answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but allow private development of space exploration as well, with mutual support between NASA and the private sector in terms of tech and overall improvement of the industry. Also, we need to decrease the budget until we have decreased our national debt and solve several domestic problems first.
