No, and more services should be privatized

Ler the free market decide. There will be more competition and this will result in higher quality of care, lower costs to the indvidual and family while also lowering taxes stolen by the government.

I think it should stay the way it is, we have enough healthcare services and don't need to increase or decrease it.

 @94C42JLfrom British Columbia answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, it's absolutely needed that healthcare will need a boost in the coming years. We simply can't continue doing what we've previously done with our healthcare system, and we saw a lot of the flaws exposed in the pandemic. But provinces also have to do their fair share, and can't cut/try to privatize a lot of essential services because of austerity measures.

 @94BBTQBLiberalfrom Ontario answered…2yrs2Y

The provinces should increase their spending as it is their responsibility.

 @945C4M2from British Columbia answered…2yrs2Y

They should, but the provinces have to do their part as well. They can't cut services that are essential to people and cry for more help when it falls apart. They have to invest, as well as the Federal government/researchers, etc.

 @9445DTKfrom Ontario answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, and work to better allocate the money instead of bureaucratic draining.

 @GizemNew Democraticfrom Ontario answered…2yrs2Y

Public and private health care equally must be increased spending on

 @93QZV7Zfrom Ontario answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, the health and well-being of our citizens should be top priority, and should receive more federal funding.

 @93KJD86from British Columbia answered…2yrs2Y

Our healthcare system is so pathetic it needs such a revamp. Nurses and doctors don't need to be paid more they need their jobs to become easier. If we need nurses why is Canada not training Canadian citizens to be nurses. If it was shorten my waiting time in the ER and if everybody had their own GP. I think we could temporarily pay to educate people to put them in those positions.

 @93GQFCDfrom British Columbia answered…2yrs2Y

The provincial government should increase their spending on healthcare

Only so long as the money goes to hiring more doctor', nurses, first responders, etc. And not to bureaucrats in higher offices

No, but the provinces should be made to pay their fair share, the federal government has to pay for most of the health care budget already even though provinces can pay more than they are.

 @92TJN42from Ontario answered…2yrs2Y

No, the money should be spent more efficiently with less waste (such as irrelevant land holdings)

 @92GW5BTfrom Alberta answered…2yrs2Y

There should be better management of current funding, there is a lot of waste and poor administration.

 @92FG9XQfrom Ontario answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but only for physical health or plastic surgery for major disfigurement so no help with sex changes unless the individual needs it to function properly or unnecessary plastic surgery but privatized licensed professionals should be allowed.

Yes, along with an increased support in the updating of healthcare technology and services.

 @8ZR4TBRfrom Ontario answered…2yrs2Y

Regardless, healthcare should be more proactively preventing and screening for poor health, rather than mainly providing treatment

 @8ZN4YG4from British Columbia answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, wherever necessary as the COVID-19 pandemic has shown that our medical systems could be better than they are right now/as well as being able to take care of older generations when they retire. But, provinces should also be pulling their own weight, as many have cut healthcare during the pandemic, leaving many more vulnerable.

 @8ZMQV95from Quebec answered…2yrs2Y

The federal government should allow provinces to tax and spend on health care as they see fit
