I belive that voter should be at a age where they are mature enough and educated to some extent to vote, otherwise, people will just follow other rather what they really belive in

Once agian, 18 year olds barely know what to vote if they are even up to date on all the parties and the current events going on so expecting younger kids to do the same isn't a good idea.

teenagers voting can change the whole election and not a lot of teenagers know what most of the qualities on the parties are.

Our brains do not fully develop until we are in our later 20s. As younger people do, they would either take the popular vote or do something they will regret later as young people generally do.

Those opposed to giving 16-year-olds the vote believe that: Young people are not informed enough, too immature and lack enough life experience to vote. Young people are heavily influenced by adults such as teachers and parents (and therefore subject to coercion).

When you look at serious policy, very few 16 year olds know what parties really stand for, and they don't have experience of maturely observing how politics works and how different parties and politicians act and decide on things. 18 is a reasonable age. There must be a threshold, and it is reasonable to say that it should be the same threshold as making other adult decisions like purchasing alcohol, getting tattoos, and living independently

There are many people below 18 who haven’t yet developed their own stance on politics and other issues. It’s important to fully understand what you’re voting for.
