When have you observed the impact of collective community action in your own neighborhood or school?

 @9JT7MCBfrom Alberta answered…3mos3MO

Everyone deserves to have their voice heard, but at times, it becomes too much where people begin to find fault with everything, and get offended by anything. Instead of moving forward and working to help others, we are going backwards to try to appease those who give their 4 year old child a different gender or label them as a lesbian because they prefer to hang out with girls. Or trying to excuse certain behavior based on stress instead of actually getting help, they do nothing. That should not be a government problem, but an individuals problem where they then need mental help.

How would society change if the focus shifted from economic growth to the well-being of every individual?

 @9H5ZJRSfrom Ontario answered…6mos6MO

If society starts caring more about people's well-being than just making money, things would change a lot. Rules and decisions would focus on making life better, keeping people healthy, and balancing work and personal life. Schools and jobs would care more about overall development and making sure people aren't too stressed. People would also think more about the environment. Instead of just looking at how much money we make, we might look at how happy and healthy people are. This change would make our institutions and culture more about caring for each other and working together for a happier and healthier society.
