On Monday, Peel Regional Police arrested former Air Canada pilot Geoffrey Wall for allegedly operating hundreds of flights using forged licensing documents.
Investigators claim Wall flew more than 900 domestic and international flights between 2009 and 2025 without the required Airline Transport Pilot License. While the 59-year-old held some flight credentials, he allegedly misrepresented his qualifications to reach the rank of captain, the senior officer responsible for the entire aircraft. Air Canada stated that passenger safety was never compromised because Wall passed mandatory competency checks and simulator training every six months during his tenure.
Wall now faces seven criminal charges including fraud and forgery as authorities review how his credentials went unchecked for nearly two decades.
