No, but biodegradable options should be more available at an affordable price, in addition to an incentive for companies that produce biodegradable materials.

Instead add a deposit on every plastic bottle (including water bottles), encouraging people to recycle or take those bottles to a recycling depot. As well, bottle pickers (usually homeless who go through people’s recycling) could earn a living from those who toss stuff they shouldn’t

We should limit the amount of non-biodegradable materials we integrate into society, however, we still must be mindful of individuals with developmental disabilities who require non-biodegradable material (example: the use of straws are essential for people with different disabilities such as Parkinson's).

I don’t think they should be banned, but I think that manufacturing these products should be reduced to a ‘cap’ per year.

I think that disposable plastic materials should still be made, but priced higher so that people are more wary and considerate of the materials they use. the access money made could be used to fund the marking of more biodegradable products.

It would be very hard to do so, yet it is a good idea resulting in a better environment.
