Palestine
The Palestine people who have lose their family, their future and their need of help in this conflict. There has also been many international Law and Human Rights Violations that has been violated about human rights violations and alleged war crime
@9MW8Y2BConservative8mos8MO
to understand this conflict one needs to understand its history and the value of land and no one can call neighbours home as their own home.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Israel
@9KW6MZJ10mos10MO
Israel does not have a right to the land, otherwise we should give the land of Spain back to the Muslims and Jews who lived there 1400 years ago. The land was in harmony before the reconquista, just as Palestine was before Israel’s creation. It is not anti-semitic to criticize a genocide of Palestinian civilians under Zionist belief, a belief put in place by western powers. It is colonization not defence. However, the support goes to Palestinian people, not Hamas; Hamas is simply a lesser evil than Israel, but evil nonetheless. I stand with Palestine and a unification where Jewish and Muslim communities can be in peace without the presence of the IDF, or Zionist belief.
@9MW8Y2BConservative8mos8MO
you cant rule on stolen land. not forever. Palestine will be free. You could have lived in peace. As Palestine had embraced you all when in trouble.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
Both equally
The "Both equally" position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict suggests a neutral stance, implying that both parties share equal responsibility for the ongoing tensions and disputes. While acknowledging the complexity of the conflict and the historical grievances on both sides, one counter-argument is to emphasize the power dynamics, historical context, and the impact of asymmetry between the two parties. It's essential to recognize the nuances of the conflict and the perspectives of both Israelis and Palestinians. However, advocating for a nuanced understanding doesn't necessarily mean assigning equal blame or responsibility for the ongoing situation. The counter-argument presented here seeks to address the power dynamics and historical context that contribute to the asymmetry in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
@9JNNXLY12mos12MO
Israel is a colonial apartheid ethnostate inflicting genocide upon millions of stranded and innocent citizens, this if anything is simply an immoral thing to support.
@9J3KG2K1yr1Y
Israel is a colonizer which restricts the flow of food and resources into gaza and illegally annexes west Bank territories
@9RC3SBW6mos6MO
@9LMVT9R9mos9MO
I don't really understand the conflict and need to know what it really happening before making that decision.
@9HM4G991yr1Y
Neither, Israel started an oil war with people that want an excuse to Holocaust them
@9GZYG4J1yr1Y
Israeli and Palestinian are both innocent in this conflict, the Hamas terrorist are the bad guy.
@9LTNCX49mos9MO
Both sides are somewhat in the wrong, but Israel has the right to defend themselves from Hamas Terrorism.
@9RBNS2N6mos6MO
Irrelevant to canada. We do not need to be involved.
@9J7VZ3Z1yr1Y
@9RBVHV26mos6MO
Not any of our business, stay out of it and let them level eachother
I'd disagree just in that we should encourage world peace and help prevent war and midigate damage, but also western governments installed and currently fund Israel. Our ammo loads our guns in their hands, they're a colonial project that couldn't stand two seconds on its own. It is our business. If we want a middle eastern corridor, it shouldn't be bombing anyone who dares live nearby or scrutinize ongoing atrocities.
@9LM37SW9mos9MO
I prefer not to state an opinion as im not educated enough
@9PPYMJC7mos7MO
I support Israel more but I have much sympathy for the Palestinians
@9PCZKFMConservative7mos7MO
Neither. Religion is corrupt and has brainwashed each side into killing each other.
@9MLT56X8mos8MO
Both, but we must acknowledge the atrocities Israel and Hamas have committed, and should be tried in international court accordingly.
@9MLMKLWConservative8mos8MO
there both guilty let them fund there own war just be involved in stopping the war
@9KD8SGV11mos11MO
I support the Israeli and Palestinian people, but not their governments
@9JLF2GL12mos12MO
both have tried to kill each other for the past 5,000 years and it will continue to happen for the next 5,000 so nether
@9JGJ9Q7Conservative12mos12MO
i sympathise with innocent people and children in both the nations and as there are no winners to a war so i hope HAMAS and the israeli government comes to an agreement
@9HRLMFJConservative1yr1Y
Neither, middle Eastern issues should stay in the middle east.
@9HQ5XY31yr1Y
I support both the right for Israel to exist and for Palestinians to be free from occupation. I support a two-state solution. I do not approve of the current Israeli government leadership, and I vehemently oppose Hamas.
@9HNVRZR1yr1Y
More Israel for now. Both but not until Palestine recognizes Israel rights to exist and the Israel government opens up to the idea of allowing Palestine to become an official country.
@9H6G9J61yr1Y
Isreal but we should still provide humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians
@9TVPNXW4mos4MO
i sympathize with the innocent children who have died on both sides for rich politicians.
@9TPQVTT4mos4MO
Both equally because I sympathize with the VICTIMS, not the organizations and governments who both deserve to be terminated (Hamas and IDF)
@9RMYX2X6mos6MO
Both equally, as Hamas started the war with their first attack against Israel, but Israel's response has also created a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. It is also truly alarming to see a great spike in antisemitism.
@9QQGY8RConservative7mos7MO
I just don't want people to die, regardless of who they are.
@9MKYHZ78mos8MO
I side with the civilians of Israel and Palestine, not the IDF or HAMAS
@9M6YCXK9mos9MO
Citizens from both sides deserve better & shouldn’t be murdered.
@9M6T2SM9mos9MO
I don't support the government sympathizing with either side.
@9L4S5LQ10mos10MO
I could care less about issues outside MY country Canada.
@9KG9KSM11mos11MO
I don't wanna form an opinion on an on going war. I support the citizens of Israel and Palestine and want them to be safe.
@9JJ98V612mos12MO
Neither. This war will not end until one wipes the other off the face of the planet.
@9HSLVMY1yr1Y
Neutral but people on both sides who demonstrate physical violence and damage property should be charged.
@9H645851yr1Y
Israel but I understand that Hamas is the threat and is hiding behind the civilians and people are forgetting how wars are fought.
@9RZPX676mos6MO
hamas militants attacked israeli civilians, hamas militants deserve no quarter in my book
@9RR93PG6mos6MO
They're both committing war crimes, but Palestine Protesters are causing detriment to our country.
Israel is an illegitimate, rogue occupier of what used to be Palestine. But so was the British Empire upon the breakup of the Ottoman Empire. I would like to see a two state solution based on the 1947 boundaries and stop funding either of them. Let all the different ideologies figure it out with either peaceful discussion, or sticks and rocks. Israel has MUCH to atone for.
@9VJ7FWF4mos4MO
Israel has tried many times to have a peaceful resolution but the extremists of other Middle Eastern countries want Judaism dead.
@9HV5QFW1yr1Y
Palestine, and Canada should immediately terminate diplomatic relations with Israel.
@9M4LF5F9mos9MO
Israel are currently committing Genocide, their government is horrible. Hamas are currently committing other terrible acts, they are horrible. However all the civilians and any people who are fully unaffiliated with these two radicals groups are suffering heavily because of this conflict on both sides
@9J2HTD71yr1Y
Neither, in my honest opinion the "holy land" should be glassed so that no one can fight over it again.
@9RC45YF6mos6MO
@9J4Z7WQ1yr1Y
Neither, in all honesty the "holy land" should be glassed to prevent anyone from fighting over it.
@9HCSTN21yr1Y
I believe that a two-state solution is necessary and viable for peace between Israel and Palestine
@9Q2Y5ZM7mos7MO
@9JGGJW512mos12MO
This is not a conflict it is genocide of the Palestinian people
@9TJ3LQQ4mos4MO
I choose America when they inevitably obliterate both sides for more land!
@9TH4SPWConservative4mos4MO
Again, this conflict does not affect me personally. I choose not to weigh in on subjects like this.
@9V487PQ4mos4MO
I sympathize with both equally, but believe that Isreal should not have responded to such an extreme level.
@9TW8KDL4mos4MO
Both aren’t the best, but the innocent Palestinians are helpless
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
Can art, music, or literature play a role in healing communities divided by conflict?
@9TNBDV84mos4MO
It can, but only if the art isn't bombed out of existence
@9TFCZYH4mos4MO
I sympathize with the general populations of both sides, but not their governments.
@9TBZMCB4mos4MO
I don't side with something more. I believe there should be a ceasefire.
@9RMDWZQ6mos6MO
I support non violence. I don’t think anyone born/raised in Canada can have any true awareness of what is happening there (thank you). Terrorism should be zero tolerance. Doesn’t mean governments won’t/don’t go too far
@9RBTK65New Democratic6mos6MO
I do not support either side, this is a religious war with no defined good or evil side. Both sides have genuine issues with the other but both sides have committed vile atrocities to justify their stance.
@9QYHT2W6mos6MO
I don't agree with either side. Religious wars can be left to the ppl fighting them. We should not support any country that does not have separation of church and state. Let them figure it out for themselves and save our tax payers money.
@9QYGYWZ6mos6MO
It’s a nuanced issue of human nature and stage of development. Can’t really say.
@9QVT6N36mos6MO
I support Israelis and Palestinians, but I don't support Palestine or Israel as states. Instead, we should have one state that recognises Judaism, Islam and Christianity as official religions.
@9P8NRFMNew Democratic 7mos7MO
I am more in support of the victims and citizens who both sides experience varying levels of danger rather than the governing bodies.
@9P4BK5L7mos7MO
I do not have enough knowledge to make a decision.
@9MXJRLQ8mos8MO
There is such thing as "two sides" when concerning an ongoing genocide.
@9M8ZG9Q9mos9MO
I can understand where both countries are coming from but I have no doubt what Israel is doing is wrong and can't be justified but because of my lack of knowledge of the fact I can't really pick a side.
@9LX2BF99mos9MO
Neither, both have committed terrible war crimes and should face international consequences.
@9LFBTXZ10mos10MO
They both have got many issues and are like children fighting over something their parents had beef about, if they want this fixed they should include both peoples beliefs in political deduction making with their own divisions in the government.
@9L6B6WF10mos10MO
Neither it's an oil war between shills and islamists
@9L2CDJX10mos10MO
I sympathize with the citizens of both nations and condem the leaders of both nations.
@9K38BBV11mos11MO
I try not to get myself involved with other wars that do not have anything to do with me but I would be equal with both sides.
@9JXN7JS11mos11MO
I support the innocent civilians in Palestine but also support Israel because of Hamas's initial attacks
@9JXLGVB11mos11MO
Both sides have reasons for violence but I don't agree with either side
@9JWMJCZ 11mos11MO
We will only help the one which didn't start the war. And plus whoever started the war, you are now long marked as an "enemy nation" in the lawful order of the knight creed.
@9JQ8T5J12mos12MO
Israel, but work towards a Two-State Solution & support full equality between all Israelis & Palestinians.
@9JF38BW12mos12MO
This question cannot be answered by simply choosing a side.
@9JBTHNJ12mos12MO
Understanding of what lead up to the situation, but cannot condone the actions from either side.
They have been at war for longer than I have been alive...
I believe that both sides should put down their weapons and just to share the holy lands
@9HW52K81yr1Y
I support expanding the Arabian sea by about 3000 kilometers to the north by completely eliminating that area of the world
Turn the area, on both sides, in to sea of glass. Nuke it
@9HV74RQ1yr1Y
Both the Israeli and Hamas governments are directly harming innocent civilians. Palestinian civilians are suffering more on average. Both the Israeli government and Hamas are unsupportable.
@9HV5QFW1yr1Y
Palestine. Canada should immediately terminate diplomatic relations with Israel, ban importation of all goods made in Israel, and refuse entry to anyone with Israeli citizenship AT MINIMUM.
@9HT5GHZ1yr1Y
This is more complicated than an either or answer.
