Palestine

 @9HQHPGNLiberalfrom Ontario  agreed…1yr1Y

The Palestine people who have lose their family, their future and their need of help in this conflict. There has also been many international Law and Human Rights Violations that has been violated about human rights violations and alleged war crime

 @9MW8Y2BConservativefrom Ontario  agreed…8mos8MO

to understand this conflict one needs to understand its history and the value of land and no one can call neighbours home as their own home.

Israel

 @9KW6MZJfrom Alberta  disagreed…10mos10MO

Israel does not have a right to the land, otherwise we should give the land of Spain back to the Muslims and Jews who lived there 1400 years ago. The land was in harmony before the reconquista, just as Palestine was before Israel’s creation. It is not anti-semitic to criticize a genocide of Palestinian civilians under Zionist belief, a belief put in place by western powers. It is colonization not defence. However, the support goes to Palestinian people, not Hamas; Hamas is simply a lesser evil than Israel, but evil nonetheless. I stand with Palestine and a unification where Jewish and Muslim communities can be in peace without the presence of the IDF, or Zionist belief.

 @9MW8Y2BConservativefrom Ontario  disagreed…8mos8MO

you cant rule on stolen land. not forever. Palestine will be free. You could have lived in peace. As Palestine had embraced you all when in trouble.

Both equally

 @9HQHPGNLiberalfrom Ontario  disagreed…1yr1Y

The "Both equally" position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict suggests a neutral stance, implying that both parties share equal responsibility for the ongoing tensions and disputes. While acknowledging the complexity of the conflict and the historical grievances on both sides, one counter-argument is to emphasize the power dynamics, historical context, and the impact of asymmetry between the two parties. It's essential to recognize the nuances of the conflict and the perspectives of both Israelis and Palestinians. However, advocating for a nuanced understanding doesn't necessarily mean assigning equal blame or responsibility for the ongoing situation. The counter-argument presented here seeks to address the power dynamics and historical context that contribute to the asymmetry in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

 @9JNNXLYfrom Ontario  disagreed…12mos12MO

Israel is a colonial apartheid ethnostate inflicting genocide upon millions of stranded and innocent citizens, this if anything is simply an immoral thing to support.

 @9J3KG2Kfrom Alberta  disagreed…1yr1Y

Israel is a colonizer which restricts the flow of food and resources into gaza and illegally annexes west Bank territories

 @9H64L5Tfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

How can you sympathize with Palestine when their people want death to all in Israel and their “elected” government is a terrorist organization called hamas that aren’t much different than the nazis?!

 @9RC3SBWfrom Quebec  answered…6mos6MO

I support Israel, but not all of the actions they are taking.

 @9RMF7WQCommunistfrom Ontario  disagreed…6mos6MO

Sounds like you don't support Israel then. What about Israel do you support if not their actions?

 @9LMVT9Rfrom Ontario  answered…9mos9MO

I don't really understand the conflict and need to know what it really happening before making that decision.

 @9HM4G99from Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

Neither, Israel started an oil war with people that want an excuse to Holocaust them

 @9GZYG4Jfrom Quebec  answered…1yr1Y

Israeli and Palestinian are both innocent in this conflict, the Hamas terrorist are the bad guy.

I do not sympathize with either Israel or Palestine and this conflict is none of our business leave it up to them.

 @9RMF7WQCommunistfrom Ontario  disagreed…6mos6MO

They shoot our weapons and fire our missiles. If you want to leave it up to them, you'd be taking a stance against Israel.

 @9RBVHV2from Nova Scotia  answered…6mos6MO

Not any of our business, stay out of it and let them level eachother

 @9RMF7WQCommunistfrom Ontario  disagreed…6mos6MO

I'd disagree just in that we should encourage world peace and help prevent war and midigate damage, but also western governments installed and currently fund Israel. Our ammo loads our guns in their hands, they're a colonial project that couldn't stand two seconds on its own. It is our business. If we want a middle eastern corridor, it shouldn't be bombing anyone who dares live nearby or scrutinize ongoing atrocities.

 @9RMYX2Xfrom Ontario  answered…6mos6MO

Both equally, as Hamas started the war with their first attack against Israel, but Israel's response has also created a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. It is also truly alarming to see a great spike in antisemitism.

They're both committing war crimes, but Palestine Protesters are causing detriment to our country.

 @9LJGNWTPeople’s from British Columbia  answered…9mos9MO

Israel is an illegitimate, rogue occupier of what used to be Palestine. But so was the British Empire upon the breakup of the Ottoman Empire. I would like to see a two state solution based on the 1947 boundaries and stop funding either of them. Let all the different ideologies figure it out with either peaceful discussion, or sticks and rocks. Israel has MUCH to atone for.

 @9VJ7FWFfrom British Columbia  commented…4mos4MO

Israel has tried many times to have a peaceful resolution but the extremists of other Middle Eastern countries want Judaism dead.

 @9HV5QFWfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

Palestine, and Canada should immediately terminate diplomatic relations with Israel.

Israel are currently committing Genocide, their government is horrible. Hamas are currently committing other terrible acts, they are horrible. However all the civilians and any people who are fully unaffiliated with these two radicals groups are suffering heavily because of this conflict on both sides

 @9RBTK65New Democraticfrom Nova Scotia  answered…6mos6MO

I do not support either side, this is a religious war with no defined good or evil side. Both sides have genuine issues with the other but both sides have committed vile atrocities to justify their stance.

 @9QYHT2Wfrom British Columbia  answered…6mos6MO

I don't agree with either side. Religious wars can be left to the ppl fighting them. We should not support any country that does not have separation of church and state. Let them figure it out for themselves and save our tax payers money.
