Among the most common problems are high rates of suicide and psychoactive substance use among indigenous youth. These problems, coupled with numerous unfavorable social determinants, generate high psychosocial vulnerability for these communities. Despite these circumstances, they are very unlikely to have access to adequate mental health services.
