Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
4>4 Personal answer"yes, but only by court order' in each and every instance pertaining to every IP address and phone number. NO STINGRAY blanket eaves dropping allowed! |
4>4 Personal answerI can't believe this is up for debate. NO, always a choice and it is so shameful that we are a nation at war (really at the beck and call of the US) instead of a peace keeping country. Investing in war to create peace is like have sex to maintain virginity, it does not compute. |

4>4 Personal answer

4>4 Personal answerWe live in a patriarchal society; when Canada started doing "women in non traditional trades" they left out the other half of the equation which was to teach men how to multi task. Child rearing needs to be revered instead of being viewed as 'less than'. It is not just a universal child tax, we need a complete overhaul of wages to reflect the importance and tax breaks for people choosing to raise their own children instead of farming that out to a daycare. |
4>4 Personal answerAs an indigenous person and Canadian I can say that charity does not work. The treaties should be upheld and that needs to be taken care of. Restitution for genocide of our culture needs to be address, and has been in stages. Monies received from the Indian Act need to be abolished, charity doesn't work, it just keeps us from really standing on our own two legs and moving forward. Also, most of my family and friends whom are products of the reserve are not well off emotionally, spiritually or economically. These reserves were set aside in undesirable areas that European people did not want, that needs to be readdressed once the Indian Act gets abolished. So yes, funds for treaties need to be honoured. Funds through the Indian Act need to stop. It is not a popular view but it is our only way forward. |
4>4 Personal answerThe attitudes of drugs needs a total revamp, look to the Netherlands and round table politics for actual forward movement on the problems that ail our current society. |
4>4 Personal answer
4>4 Personal answerThe federal government may invest BUT only if we start getting to use the gas tax, all of it, to help maintain other infrastructure and then they can have money in the coffers for rail. |
4>4 Personal answer
4>4 Personal answerThis is not a yes or no question; several factors need to be considered and requirements met so the rest of the country does not hurt. 1-They must have 75% or higher vote in favour for it 2-They must take their share of debt and pay any potential crown earning directly. 3-They must come up with their own monetary system 4-THEY MUST honour indigenous treaties and contribute to them and have strict environmental rules These are the tip of the ice berg, there will always be issues with cultures clashing, just ask any Cree or Nwiga. |
4>4 Personal answer"yes, but only if strong protections for our national resources and workers are enacted with each trade deal" and all deals are free from corrosion. We need to respect our Earth and take care of our own peoples first instead of playing into the interests of countries who control the world markets. |
