Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
9>9 Personal answerOf course yes. I don't find any good reason to not legalize the same sex marriage. If two people of same sex want to get get married then there should be no obstacles in their way. That should be one of the human right. |
9>9 Personal answerWhatever the sex, if one is capable of providing a good parenting to a child, they should have same adoption rights as straight couples. |
9>9 Personal answerYes, for sure. I think, no-one except the authorized professionals, like police, army or somebody from the protection category should be allowed to have a gun. It may seem like a getting a gun after having proper license may sound fair, but we never know what's the purpose of the person buying a gun maybe. Clear examples are being heard on the news as well, we see so many gunshots crime being reported. So to reduce these crimes, allowing to purchase the gun should be limited to professionals working in the related field. |
Student Loan Debt
9>9 Personal answerBeing selfish, yes. But it would also affect the economy of the country so whatever! |
9>9 Personal answer
9>9 Personal answer
Muslim Immigrant Ban
9>9 Personal answer
9>9 Personal answerYes, but as an international student coming from a third world country, I experienced a lot of delays during my processing time due to this. I hope they enact a stricter immigration policy but reduce the time taken for the processing at the same time. |
Demilitarize the Police
9>9 Personal answerYes, but with strict training on how and when to use the equipment |
Defunding the Police
9>9 Personal answerFunding to the both the departments should be determined on the basis of the need in that particular community as both is equally important to maintain the safety of the place and decrease the crime rate. |
Housing › Foreign Owned Homes
9>9 Personal answerAs a foreigner, I would say no. They should be allowed to buy homes if they earn enough to afford one. |
9>9 Personal answer
9>9 Personal answerI am not sure on this. As a foreigner, I don't know much about the politics in Canada and who should I vote. Even if I live here for 5 or 10 yrs, I might not be interested in the politics in Canada. As a result of that, if I get to vote I might just vote some random candidate since I might eventually return to my own country . But it can also be said that, if the right person is elected, it will not only do good to the country but also all people living in here including the foreigners. So, from that point of view anybody living in the country holding no criminal records and is entitled as a good resident, should be allowed to vote. |
Housing › Affordable Housing
9>9 Personal answerSo many immigrants are coming in here and the Canadian government, itself has the target of reaching certain number of immigrants. But due to lack of availability of accommodation, people are bind to pay more for the rent and homes. Thus, government should subsidize the building of required homes, which is enough to hold everybody that are or are entering to canada. |
Housing › Home Buyer Incentives
9>9 Personal answer
Green Transportation
9>9 Personal answerNo, not all, just focus on infrastructure that is easy and cost-effective to replace |
Charter Schools
9>9 Personal answerNo, we should focus on improving our public schools and increasing teacher wages instead |
9>9 Personal answerYes, and no. Yes, as from the government perspective, since it will be environmental friendly and all time operating. No, from the company's perspective since it will be costly for the drone installation but also will be cheaper in long run as it would replace the human resource needed to do the work. Thus, it depends what points are being considered in order to determine the correct answer. |
