Should businesses be required to have women on their board of directors?

I feel that each business should hire the people best suited for the position. To place a woman on the board of directors simply because of her gender and not her merit is silly.

No, it should be based on qualifications, but more should be done to disolve boundries for minorites and impower them in the workplace

I think they are supposed to treat everyone equally. We can't make it a requirement to heir women if they aren't qualified it's be the same the other way around however I would question them if they had none on their board

There needs to be more diversity in the workplace. Whether that be women, trans people, or nonbinary people. There shouldn't be a requirement to fill these token diversity places. Instead, there should be workshops implemented to fisht against bias and discrimination in the workplace.
