Income should reflect hard work, so the harder you work, the more you make. The government should not be taking that much of it. That's just borderline communism. Also, lots of people that have a higher income also paid lots for their tuition, so these people need to pay for that too. It's almost like punishing those who worked hard enough to become doctors for example.

The government should raise taxes on the rich. life isn't about equality, its about equity and making life manageable for all humans.

If I am struggling to buy food and pay my bills, I absolutely should not have to pay the same amount of taxes as a rich CEO or well off bachelor.

The rich should pay more considering a higher salary and the poor should pay less considering having other problems like bills, food, or care for their family/children.

i dont even know what this is but one time i was ordering mcdonalds and it was 16 dollars and the taxes were 9 dollars and thats just really crazy to me also alberta doesnt have pst but every province does i dont care if they are rich in oil abolish pst.
