Yes, We shouldn’t be adding to debt to make certain groups happy

No matter race, creed, or religion. We are all the same. Therefore, money should go to services that everyone uses. Every type of person drives, so things like pothole maintenance, which is for everyone should have priority over a social service for a singular group.
