Religious leaders from both the Christian and Jewish communities have come together to issue strong statements against the ongoing violence and humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi and Daniele De Paz, representing the Catholic and Jewish communities of Bologna, signed a joint declaration denouncing the war and calling for an end to the suffering. Church leaders in Jerusalem, including the Latin Patriarch and Greek Orthodox Patriarch, emphasized their unwavering support for the people of Gaza and described the situation as 'morally unacceptable.' Cardinal Pizzaballa highlighted the deep suffering in Gaza, likening it to Christ being crucified among the wounded and buried under the rubble.
