Inflation has skyrocketed, housing has skyrocketed, and there has been a poor handling of the immigration crisis as there is also a housing crisis. When dealing with international relations, especially with Trump's tariffs, I feel the approach has avoided a more assertive strategy such as negotiation. This poor handling is directly impacting industry all across Canada. The use of illegal substances have increased in drastic numbers in all cities. Although I do not know the government's part in the causation, I feel as though we could do a much better job as a nation. There has been an increase in violent crime because of a more lenient justice-system, and unemployment is awful. We continue to let foreign workers in without a demand, and Canadian youth and citizens struggle to find jobs because of this, weakening opportunities to develop necessary skills and social development.
