you should be able to marry the Pearson you love no matter there gender and feel safe while doing it.
@9GFTM4X5mos5MO
I find that gay marriage is a right as a human living in society and that you should be allowed to marry, or not marry anyone you love.
@9GCXXTH5mos5MO
Why does it matter? The notion that marriage is between a man and woman is based off of archaic religious values that may not apply in today's world. Let people do what they want.
@9G9G8Q95mos5MO
people who love each other and choose to get married together are not just men only can choose women or vice versa.
@9FQ7H7R6mos6MO
Queer, and gay/lesbian people in particular, should be allowed to get married because a legal union between two people causes Zero harm to anyone and is exactly the same as a man and a woman getting married.
@9GB3L4K5mos5MO
Everyone deserves to be happy if somone is happy with that they love who is anyone to judge. It is love and that is no ones buissness but my own.
@9F9TS6CNew Democratic7mos7MO
you should be able to live your life the way you want and marry who you love as long as it isn't harming someone. Gay marriage does not harm anyone.
@9FG2WTD6mos6MO
That perspective is clearly outdated as people of the same sex can love each other just as much as people of different sexes.
@9KW4Y7N2wks2W
In response to the assertion that marriage should be exclusively defined as between a man and a woman, here are some counterarguments relevant to Canada:
Legal Equality: Denying same-sex couples the right to marry is discriminatory and creates a second class of citizens. Legalizing gay marriage ensures equal access to benefits and protections enjoyed by heterosexual couples.
Changing Traditions: The concept of “traditional marriage” has evolved over time, and historical accuracy does not support the idea that marriage has always been strictly between a man and a woman.
Gender Definition: Insisting on defining marriage based on gender begs the question of how gender itself is defined. Supporters of gay marriage argue that gender should not be the sole criterion for marriage.
@9KW4MGF2wks2W
It has to be ones own decision about the definition. Marriage is the relationship between two partner
@9KNT9XP3wks3W
everyone should have the right to marry whoever they want, just because someone was born female and wants to marry another female doesnt make it any different from a male wanting to marry a male
@9JYWQ8K1mo1MO
It really doesn't matter if the people getting married aren't affecting you, if they are that's when you can have an opinion
@9JXF34Z1mo1MO
Not every marriage is between a man and woman, Canada allows same-sex marriages for a reason, therefore we need to destigmatize marriage as only something between a man and woman.
love is love, i don't understand why people are so interested in others lives to even care about who they are happy with.
@9GQV9DV5mos5MO
Why would you care who someone else married. It doesn't affect you. As detailed before, the "unnatural" argument is flawed and not based in science.
@9GQ9V7T5mos5MO
First of all religion did not invent marriage there are records on unions between two men that go back years. The only reason why the bible says "man shall not lie with man as he shall a women" is because it was changd due to political agenda. The real texted is "man shall not lie with boy" so no to pedophillia. Being gay isn't a sin.
@9GDR6QQ5mos5MO
Marriage should not be defined by gender, and should rather be defined by love. Anyone can love eachother
@9GMSV2F5mos5MO
The gender of couples choosing to marry should not be a subject of concern for anyone other than the individuals involved. It's essential to recognize that marriage is more than just a legal contract; it represents a deep emotional and personal connection between two people. Insisting on defining marriage as exclusively between a man and a woman not only perpetuates discrimination but also restricts the human rights and freedoms of individuals who identify outside these norms. Inclusivity and respect for diversity are at the core of a just and equitable society, and marriage equality is… Read more

what are you in the 1900s its 2023 come on now?! LIKE WTF. everyone is allowed to love who they want to love. I’m not gonna hate on you because you’re a guy and you like a girl or you’re a girl that likes a guy like come on. also, the Bible is a horrible source of information don’t use it. there are other facts and information that agrees with your position that isn’t related to the Bible.
@9FRY4CS6mos6MO
We can't keep living where same-sex marriage can be allowed because how will we reproduce if people will keep this up, then we won't be able to repopulate as a society. If we had 5 men and 5 women on one island, the just 10 women on another island, which one is going to survive longer? Exactly. It's disgusting that we allow it today and anyone who even thinks it's ok should be put in prison.
@9FKJ4GDNew Democratic6mos6MO
Marriage can be defined in many ways and not only a man and a woman. This is a hurtful statement against the 2SLGBTQIA community and shouldn’t be though about like this.
@9FLW3RS6mos6MO
ıf the reson for hatıng gay marrige is that they dont have ability to make baby than why so many of straight couples are wıthout chıldren
@9FFC6GG6mos6MO
What gives heterosexual people more rights than gay people? When straight people get married, there is no harm done to the world. It goes the same for gay people. The only difference between gay and straight marriages is gender. Everyone can love anybody they want, regardless of gender. We are all human and nobody should have their ability to love be taken away
@9H2FY5T4mos4MO
Same-sex marriage doesn't affect anyone in a negative way. If people feel that is how they should live their life it is their decision, not ours.
@9FMSWG26mos6MO
If they are together then they would not be happy and just regret the choice for the rest of their lives.
@9GDK4RF 5mos5MO
Marriage is the lock between lovers who want to become family despite gender or sexuality. As long as it doesn't affect you or your ability to live, it shouldn't matter to you what other people decisions are. Calm down and just let people be happy.
@9GBX9VD5mos5MO
If the topic is viewed through a religious point of view, placing religion into politics will never work out. There is no true law stating that marriage is strictly between woman and man, it is between a couple that loves each other and accepts all that comes with in it, and those commitments do not limit themselves to gender. We were made in our own ways so why do we have to make laws restricting how we are born? We cant control our race, ethnicity or sexuality as much as a child can choose what family they are born into.
