The latest Henley Passport Index reveals a major shift in global passport power, with Asian countries like Singapore, Japan, and South Korea dominating the top spots for visa-free travel.
Singapore retains its crown as the world's most powerful passport, offering access to 193 destinations, while the US and UK have both dropped to their lowest rankings ever, with the US now at 10th place. India made the biggest leap, jumping from 85th to 77th, granting its citizens visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 59 countries. Meanwhile, countries like Canada and the UAE continue to perform strongly, and several other nations, including Vietnam and Sri Lanka, have also improved their standings.
The rankings highlight growing mobility gaps, with some passports offering far greater global access than others.
