The latest Henley Passport Index reveals a major shift in global travel freedom, with Asian countries like Singapore, Japan, and South Korea dominating the top spots for the world's most powerful passports.
Singapore retains its crown, offering visa-free access to 193 destinations, while the US passport has dropped to its lowest-ever ranking at 10th place, reflecting a decade-long decline. India has made its biggest leap in years, climbing to 77th place and now granting its citizens visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 59 countries. Meanwhile, European and Middle Eastern countries like Greece and the UAE also improved their standings, while passports from countries like Pakistan remain among the weakest.
The rankings highlight shifting diplomatic influence and growing mobility gaps between nations.
