Depends on the individual and their case. We should invest more in rehabilitation but there should be harsher punishment in Canada too for more severe cases. We play in the middle too much. Harsh punishments for lenient crimes and lenient punishment for harsh crimes. It's a backwards system that needs to be abolished.
