Yes, but rehabilitation and community programs should be given to create a seamless transition for prisoners into the every day life.

No put them in undercrowded prisons instead and then if those get full build more prisons

Just because a criminal is non-violent in jail does not mean they can bypass the law and the consequences for their actions. Depending on how overcrowded the prison is perhaps some increased funding may be of use. Otherwise, jail is not made to be spacious, if it is not violating their human rights they should serve their sentences just as all the other criminals should.

Yes, but they should perform community service on a daily or weekly basis and should be offered a reintroduction program that helps them understand what it is like to be a part of society.

It depends, to reduce overcrowding criminals with serious offences like rape, anything with a minor, or multiple murders not used in self defense should be sentenced to death but only with hard proof.
@BB7PTLQ2mos2MO
I feel if they are non-violent they should be given another chance into the world depending on what they did, like obviously if they killed someone then no but if they just stole something from a store or did a bank robbery then yeah sure.
@B9PF34R3mos3MO
Yes but they should be monitored closely, be required to do community service and if they mess or reoffend they’re sent back

Yes, and if some people last 10 years still free from jail, those people should automatically get pardoned, except for murderers and terrorists,
