The entire government should be reorganized into a Constitutional Republic with an elected head of state, elected MPs, and senators who serve 6 year terms, 33% of whom are up for election every 2 years.

I think the senate is still necessary, just in case but we do need to have more strict rules for them so people actually show up and aren’t just using it for money because it’s costing Canada a lot.

The people should elect the Senators, just as they elect the representatives. The government should reflect and serve the will of the people.
