Diversity training is any program designed to facilitate positive intergroup interaction, reduce prejudice and discrimination, and generally teach individuals who are different from others how to work together effectively. On April 22, 2022, Florida Governor DeSantis signed into law the “Individual Freedom Act.” The bill prohibited schools and companies from mandating diversity training as a requirement for attendance or employment. Yes, and all companies should have to do this, it should be called cultural communication because we all need to learn how to work together to be successful. It should not just focus on what is thought of by “diverse” there is cultural issues that are confusing with different age groups, and different European backgrounds as well
