Is it the government's role to regulate businesses to protect the environment, even if it means lower profits for those businesses?

 @9HB9MGQfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, the government is responsible for regulating businesses and protecting the environment.

 @9H6DWBKfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

It is, the government is responsible for our actions but also the countries activities. The government must think about what is important for each citizen and how they can be useful for them. A government is supposed to be caring and they have to be giving fair treatment to everyone.

 @9HBY8MVfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

The environment should be protected, but we should also make sure that the economy is at a good standpoint.

 @9HBCVCKfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes it is a responsibility to regulate for example when I go to Wendys I get a plastic spoon with a paper wrapper.

government should stop trying to destroy small business and the middle class. Only then will there be equity. People should work hard to get what they want and not expect a hand out

If given the choice, would you vote for a candidate who supports raising the minimum wage, even if it could increase the price of everyday items?

 @9HCV2TNfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

If it could further increase the already insanely high prices of every day items like groceries and hygiene items that should be a basic right, then no. Some of us who are unemployed and cannot find work are barely scraping by as is without the prices being raised further.

Yes a higher minimum wage would improve a communities standard of living, but not if it inflates the prices of things.
