Yes, and ban all sales to countries with human rights violations

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...1yr1Y

Yes, but I would prefer a ban on all military aid to any foreign countries

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...1yr1Y

No, this could prevent our allies from defending themselves against our mutual enemies

Yes, I don't think we should be providing arms to any country but can provide military aid when needed.

if we are allies we should support them, but If they committed human rights violations the arms sales should be reduced

 @9ZNXRCYfrom Ontario  answered…3mos3MO

Yes for the most part but, keep selling to countries that we are allied with, regardless of their stance on human rights.

Yes, we should not give any weapons to the government of an occupying force, any government actively committing genocide and should focus mainly on arming and funding liberation movements, people fighting against a dictator or foreign occupier.

It depends on which organization is doing the accusing. Most of the international organization such as UN, ICJ, ICC are inherently corrupt, dishonest and dysfunctional.

Yes, but only on our enemies and to have strict accountability with our allies whom we do send our weapons to.

Accused is not proof. I'd need access to unbiased, specific, and accurate knowledge to have an opinion

 @9RC2QHKNew Democraticfrom Nova Scotia  answered…7mos7MO

No, depending on whether fhe country is under duress by another country with even greater human rights violations, the subject must be handled with nuance.

 @9RBWQPYfrom Ontario  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, but the question of who is deciding if human rights violations are being done should be with Canada. The UN is a joke.

 @9QZCYDNfrom Ontario  answered…7mos7MO

If there's evidence that the country does that then yes. Only give weapons to trusted allies that need it.

 @9JSPMXFanswered…12mos12MO

Yes, but only if it's been proven that they've violated human rights or if they are in desperate need of assistence and we can afford it.

 @9ZK3JNSfrom British Columbia  answered…3mos3MO

Yes, we should only give weapons to liberation movements like the IRA, PFLP and Hamas and countries that are in opposition to NATO so NATO and those countries can weaken eachother.

In general yes, however any accusations of Israel violating national law are false, there fore I believe it arms sales need to be examined on a case by case basis.
