First of all, gays shouldnt be allowed in the first place god didnt create two men and allow them to have kids thats why you biologically cant have kids with the same sex its literally made to be that way second of all we cause way too many arguments over something that should have stayed illegal like why are we arguing over something stupid same sex marriage when we could be funding and putting our time into sometbing else like genocides and hunger.

It shouldn't matter who someone loves, whether it's a man and a woman, two men, two women, two non-binary people or any sort of scenario, as long as it's a healthy relationship, anybody should be able to love who they want to love. If it's not affecting you, it shouldn't matter. It is crazy

Freedom of religion exists under Section 2(a) of the Canadian Charter, so an argument based on appeal to authority (god) is not substantial. Whether something is biologically evolved should have no impact on the legality. Furthermore, it is discrimination based on sexual orientation, as marriage provides legal and financial benefits (e.g. tax loopholes), and should be available to all.

One can't say for sure if God exists because there is no concrete proof he does. (ie: no photos of him.)

The point of a relationship isn't to have kids, it's because one loves another. And people can love anyone regardless of gender, and people have been in same-sex/gender relationships since the times of ancient civilizations.

And people argue over same sex marriage because it's a social right that has been fought for decades. People want the right to not be afraid of being prosecuted due to a part of their identity that they can't change.

There are genocides and mass… Read more hunger that should be funded, but same-sex marriage has been an important issue for decades, too. Plus, the argument of "instead of wasting resources on [blank], there are more important issues like [blank]" could apply to anything, and makes the argument meaningless because of so. The fight for same-sex marriage has been around for decades too, and is still a social issue that affects many. Therefore, it does deserve government attention, and funding is needed to make amends.

just because you are religious or non-religious doesn’t mean anything towards this. Being homosexual is a sin in many religions that billions if people today beleive in. Whether you beleive in God or not across all religions, it is the truth that Adam and Eve were from two different sexes and conceived a child. If homosexuality was existent back then then maybe there wouldn’t be so much argument about it, but it never existed 1000 years ago and if it did then whoever was brainwashed enough to think of being with the same sex is wrong. The whole I was born in a different body dilemma is also really stupid because they argue about how hard being their sex is and switch to the other gender and still complain. Gays, or homosexual orientation is a normal phenomenon that can be found in many different animal species. Over 1300 animal species are found to have homosexual behaviour or even relationship, which includes penguins and dolphins etc.

So your saying we should compare our human kind that discovered the elements of the periodic table, created technology and chemotherapy, and built the system that we live in today to some animals that have “homosexuality” in them but if we compare humans and animals in a different situation it wouldnt make any sense to you. Maybe before saying some random fact about animals to keep you at ease that homosexuality isnt a sin and should be a thing in todays society you should do your research and give concrete evidence that homosexuality isnt a sin. Abviously that would be a waste of everyones time cause guess what? Homosexuality will always be a sin in a true beleivers eyes and your just too brainwashed too see it. God also didnt create humans just for the soul purpose to reproduce. If anything, our world is overpopulated right now. It shouldn't matter what somebody else chooses to do with their life and who they choose to marry. You can't help who you love. Plus, if god didnt want us to love same the same sex why would he allow us to think that way?

Yes, however, I don't believe in religion, same sex marriage is just very stupid IMO. Can you have kids? No. It is just biologically impossible. Look at other animals. Do they do this? Nah. Humans are the smartest animals but not in this case.

I absolutely agree with this comment. As a religious Catholic, LGBTQ goes entirely against what God has given us in life. Plus, LGTBQ goes against the phrase "you get what you get, and you don't get upset".

The debate that gay marriage is only between a man and a women is out dated, along with the use of the bible. The actual definition of marriage is the legally or formally recognized union of two people as partners in a personal relationship. It is not specifically between a man and a woman. Also, marriage is not just for procreation, it is a deep, emotional bond between individuals. It is about companionship, social support, legal benifeits and more. Also, if it was just for procreation, then why don't you just say we should pair two people of different sex that are both fertile enough… Read more exactly for that? Many different sex couples don't have children, making that argument kind of stupid and redundent. For the Bible/god part, keep religion out of basic human rights. Not everyone believes in your god, not everyone believes in your Bible. If you want to tell me a good reason why gay marriage is 'wrong', give me an actual reason, and not just the 'it's a sin' or 'it's weird' or 'it's unnatural.' It is not. Homosexuality is found in many different species, yet homophobia is found in only one, strange huh. Gay marriage is not going to hurt you or force you to be gay. God forbid we just want to exist and be treated like actual human beings.
