Yes and no. What people do with their earned money is their business but maybe putting a cap on monthly/yearly donations.

Yes. Ban all political donations. The government should give each political party the same amount of money: enough to stand a candidate in every riding. Reports of how every dollar was spent by the parties should then be written and available to the public.

Businesses and corporations should not be allowed to donate to political parties. Individuals should be allowed to donate but they should be given a cap on the amount.
