Approval Reasons

Here are some reasons why Canada voters gave their rating.

 @B8F6RGT from Ontario  agreed…7mos7MO

Below average

It’s the same liberal redirects we’ve had for the last 10 years that have tripled the national debt and allowed 3 million unneeded immigrants, when we could be helping actual refugees like from South Sudan and Syria, instead of India and Pakistan.

 @B7D6T95from Alberta  agreed…9mos9MO

 @B8M27ZTfrom Ontario  agreed…7mos7MO

Below average

the prime minister should try focusing on ALL the people in the country (a lot of people are suffuring)

 @B6YMRVLfrom Ontario  agreed…9mos9MO

Below average

He hasn't done anything he said he would do and he has snuck the carbon tax back in when he cut it to help win the election. He has also increased sending money to foreign aid when people in canada can't afford to live. He continues to let foreign workers in when people in canada can't get jobs.

 @B7JWX7Gfrom British Columbia  agreed…9mos9MO

Below average

High deficits, slow economic growth, increase in violent crime, high housing costs, high inflation

 @B725X5Dfrom Ontario  agreed…9mos9MO

Below average

Canada is on the brink of recession . House market is crashing, people don't have jobs , immigration is high . The intake of people (immigration) should be based on requirement/ demand in the country.

 @B8F7C5Kfrom Ontario  agreed…7mos7MO

Above average

I think he’s a great representative of Canada, has a great educational background to tackle our financial deficits, great communicator, excellent relations with other countries but also displays the right amount of empathy and concern for the people of his country.

 @B74SK4Tfrom Ontario  agreed…9mos9MO

Trudeau spent too much, allowed too many immigrants and refugees, overwhelmed our health care system, made our housing crisis worse and not affordable. The universities take too many international students because they pay more. We need to educate our Canadians not international students. I hope Carney can fix these issues. We need to have Canada better again and affordable for Canadians.

 @B8V6GTZfrom Ontario  agreed…6mos6MO

Below average

I believe that within the last decade, the economy has dropped substantially. Justin Trudeau, the man behind the vast majority of the modern inflation, has caused nothing but pain to the wallets of home buyers, upcoming independent adults and lots of low-income workers. These people can’t afford a home because of the million dollar price tags minimum on even the smallest, worst performing houses. Groceries have skyrocketed in price and nobodies done any justice to end that. I’ve not seen any change from when Carney came into office, and I don’t see it changing any time soon.

 @B7KC36Vfrom British Columbia  agreed…9mos9MO

 @B7BFVXXfrom British Columbia  agreed…9mos9MO

Mark Carney has lowered tensions with the US and has proved that he has the right mindset and tools to lead Canada. This makes him fit for prime minister in my eyes.

 @B8329P4from Alberta  agreed…8mos8MO

the current prime minister is delivering on his promises, and not going out of his way to blame another side for hindering progress. I have never been a fan of political attacks, and his de-escalatory rhetoric is exactly what we need currently. I am eyeing his progress on the "energy corridors" to see if they have any merit, but I'm cautiously optimistic

 @B8PH9KPfrom Manitoba  agreed…7mos7MO

 @B7HKRLJfrom Ontario  agreed…9mos9MO

I gave this rating because I do believe that you prime minister can do a better job with listening to the peoples opinions, like when Mark Carney described to the people that America wants to own us and keep us under control, and how he also said Canada supports Palestine after the fact that our previous Prime Minister supported Israel during the genocide

 @B7TP58Kfrom British Columbia  agreed…8mos8MO

A lot of companies are leaving Canada and heading to the US. IT appears the Prime Minister has walked back on his promise to deal with us and the tariffs. There doesn't seem to be a plan to go forward to protect Canadian jobs and have their products and resources traded with another country.

 @B8CGD6Hfrom Alberta  agreed…7mos7MO

Below average

Inflation has skyrocketed, housing has skyrocketed, and there has been a poor handling of the immigration crisis as there is also a housing crisis. When dealing with international relations, especially with Trump's tariffs, I feel the approach has avoided a more assertive strategy such as negotiation. This poor handling is directly impacting industry all across Canada. The use of illegal substances have increased in drastic numbers in all cities. Although I do not know the government's part in the causation, I feel as though we could do a much better job as a nation. There has been…  Read more

 @B863L66from Alberta  agreed…8mos8MO

He has essentially done nothing but piss off the us (trump) and made a trade agreement harder to get. He has also not done anything about the housing crisis (he said he would), nothing to help crime, nothing to help the economy (it’s only gotten worse), sending WAY too much money to foreign aid. Even though immigration levels are allegedly lower than Trudeaus administration, it’s still way too high. Our country is in crisis and they have done nothing to help the citizens of Canada.

 @B6WPZGZfrom Ontario  agreed…9mos9MO

PM has been focused on economic growth, instead of focusing on the impacts of economic growth on natural resources, the people who protect the resources (Indigenous Peoples) and neglected to consult or follow protocol with regards to Treaty agreements concerning Constitutional Bill changes.

The current prime minister is Mark Carney. While he has not been in office for a significant period of time, I do believe he has been faring better than Justin Trudeau. He also actually has experience in dealing with economic turmoil, which I think would be useful in dealing with the Orange down south.

The job economy is going down, there are no business opportunities, and no government support for new businesses. A lot of business people have left a lot over the last 4 years, and the number is going up every year. If this continues, there will be no more/very few jobs in the private sector. Also, their illegal immigrant policies, refugee policies, illegal drugs on the streets, crime has increased too much, and the cherry on top would be that healthcare is failing.

 @B7TSG5Dfrom Ontario  agreed…8mos8MO

Mr. Carney seems to be nicely threading the needle when dealing with Mr. Trump and trying to diversify Canada's trading partners. He is also trying to build more infrastructure in Canada and supporting inter-provincial trade. The sticky points will be around Native rights and Pipelines out of Alberta (there is no win-win) solutions to either issue.

 @B7LZ3J7 from Alberta  agreed…8mos8MO

Below average

He hasn't made as much changes as he said he would, or any changes at all. Carney is also not very honest.

 @B7GNRZTfrom Ontario  agreed…9mos9MO

Below average

Mark Carney has been in office for over six months, during which time Canadian youth unemployment remains historically high. One of the main factors contributing to this issue is the lack of regulations specifically designed to support youth employment. Many businesses tend to hire more experienced adult workers, as there are no policies discouraging this. This has resulted in young people struggling to gain work experience and access job opportunities. In summary, Mark Carney has yet to implement effective measures or policies that adequately support youth employment, and because of this I would rate his overall job performance below average.

 @B7DR9MGfrom British Columbia  agreed…9mos9MO
