The government should remove existing emissions standards and crash safety standards so that new vehicles can be purchased for sub 10k, and provide economic opportunity and freedom of movement for a lower price

The government should focus way less on vehicle issues when the main issues are actually wars, factories, wildlife fires, and nuclear power plants with the security, environmental and human's well-being affected by those big four issues. The only way the government should be focusing on vehicles is lowering the price by at least a maximum of 50-60%, along with the cost of housing.

No, the standards that are set now already make working on diesel engines a headache to work on. More restrictions would make them even worse.

Gov't should reward companies/owner-operators for making more eco-friendly choices to encourage demand for options that are better for environment

Yes because diesel engines emit high levels of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter, which contribute to smog and respiratory illnesses.

Essential equipment and services like farming and heavy transportation should be exempt. Personal diesels should have Stricker standards.

Whatever they choose to do should not impact the working class any more than industry
