Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › Abortion
P>P Personal answerPro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child. If abortion besides in these extenuating circumstances is allowed, it should at least be banned after the first three months. |
Social › Gay Marriage
P>P Personal answerNo, marriage should be defined as between a man and woman. Civil unions make it seem acceptable to move in together, which leads to sin and the destruction of souls and the country. |
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
P>P Personal answerNo, and only a married man and woman (or XXY with any other gender) should be allowed to adopt. |
Social › Euthanasia
P>P Personal answerNo, but they should be allowed to refuse artificial life support |
Social › Gender Identity
P>P Personal answerNo, we should address gender identity as a mental health issue, and as such, it should be covered by the Americans With Disabilities Act, which protects from discrimination for mental illnesses. |
Social › Gender Workplace Diversity
P>P Personal answerNo, board members should be the most qualified regardless of gender |
Social › Women in Combat
P>P Personal answerYes, as long as they can pass the same physical tests as men. |
the Environment › Animal Testing
P>P Personal answerYes, including cosmetics, because had testing been done, it could have prevented the use of cosmetics that have now been proven to be harmful. Thus, its use in cosmetics is medical. |
the Environment › Plastic Product Ban
P>P Personal answerNo, but increase tax incentives for companies that make biodegradable products |
Immigration › Muslim Immigrant Ban
P>P Personal answerNo, banning immigrants based on their religion is unconstitutional, but we should improve our ability to screen out potential terrorists |
the Environment › Fracking
P>P Personal answerNo, fracking uses fabric softener and other chemicals harmful to the wildlife |
Social › Transgender Athletes
P>P Personal answerNo, athletes should compete based on the biological sex that is listed on their birth certificate |
Social › Niqāb
P>P Personal answerYes, we must preserve religious freedom. With the current fear of Muslim attacks, virtually no attacker would wear clothes that easily identify them as Muslim anyway. |
Social › Death Penalty
P>P Personal answerYes, but only for horrific crimes with undeniable evidence |
Transportation › Public Transportation
P>P Personal answerShort answer: Yes, but preferably privatize it. Long answer: Where I used to live, it took 2 hours to go by bus where it would take 30 minutes to go by car. So yes, public transportation needs to be improved. People need buses to get to work affordably, since having to walk limits their job choices and takes away time from work, family, and sleep. So if we do not have buses, then people will not be able to go to work, and that will be terrible for them and for the economy overall. So if the government does not privatize it, then yes, they should increase spending on transportation, or find a way to make sure the money is used more efficiently so they don't need more money. But it should really be privatized, as companies will keep it cheap to get more people using it and will improve service to be competitive, and it will be one less (major) thing for the government to spend money on. We should prioritize getting out of debt. |
Immigration › Sanctuary Cities
P>P Personal answerNo, and we should ban the use of sanctuary cities |
the Environment › Corporate Subsidies
P>P Personal answerYes, as long as the tax revenue will eventually exceed the tax incentives, and if the company promises to create new jobs by hiring many local residents |
